A highlight of the event was the recognition of Volunteers’ years of service. A total of 76 pins were awarded, ranging from 5 years of service to 30 years. Special recognition to Felix Martinez, TSK only 30th year award recipient.
Volunteers received a beautiful Cookbook (Courtesy of Mrs. Ruth Haynes!), as well as The Soup Kitchen apron. In addition, they participated in drawing of prized donated by West Elm, The Container Store, Mrs. Bella Benlolo and Mrs. Edith Shlesinger.
A very special thank you to all our Volunteers who everyday give of their time to help us realize our mission to feed the hungry. The annual Volunteers Recognition Brunch is a recognition that is well deserved for all you do!
