Thursday, April 18 marked a significant milestone for The Soup Kitchen. We celebrated our 30^th year in serving people in need.  This was our first formal fundraiser and it was a night to remember at Benvenuto Restaurant in Boynton Beach.   

Michael Williams, anchor and reporter for the News Channel 5 team, was our Emcee and did a spectacular job.  (He was so impressed that vowed to return to The Soup Kitchen to do a special piece).  We heard from our Executive Director, Enrique Zuanetto and from the Chair of the 30^th Anniversary Committee, Marlene Mejia.  The highlight of the evening was the presentation of The Soup Kitchen’s first MVP Award. (Most Valuable Patron)  Appropriate recognition and honor was bestowed on Mr. Arthur J. Remillard for his generosity and consistent support of our organization.
