Serving the hungry is a yearlong commitment for The Soup Kitchen and you can play an important role by becoming a donor. Many people rely on The Soup Kitchen for nutritional meals, hygiene products, baby supplies and other services to overcome whatever crisis they may be experiencing. Our support enables them to begin their journey towards recovery and rebuilding their lives. Your contribution provides that hope and makes our services possible.
The Soup Kitchen is funded entirely by private donations. You can help by providing:
- Monetary donations
- Buying a Brick
- Hygiene product donations
- Baby supplies donations
- Food donations
- Clothing donations
Operating The Soup Kitchen is clearly a labor of love. We do not ask for, nor have we ever received any government support of any kind. The Soup Kitchen relies entirely on donations and the work of volunteers. While our core goal is to feed the hungry, we are grateful to have the support of many in our community in all our initiatives.
Feeding the Heart, Mind and Body, is something that is dear to our hearts. We understand that we can give, we can help, we can care and most importantly, we can love on those that are in need.
The Soup Kitchen provides a safe, clean, uplifting environment for individuals in need. We offer our guests hope for a better future. Every person who comes to us for assistance is welcomed regardless of race, sex, age, color, national origin, religious preference, special needs (disability) or income.
The Soup Kitchen serves the poor, the hungry, and the lonely by providing healthy, nutritious and appetizing meals to all who come to us.
Each week over 200 volunteers participate in preparing/serving the meals and distributing food bags. Volunteers also get involved with our other programs, such as, Taking Care of our Babies and the clothing drive/distribution, etc.
For nearly 30 years, our goal has been to reach out to homeless and the poor — men, women and children in an effort to address their current situation and meet their needs.
You can help us continue our mission of helping the destitute and impoverished among us. This can be accomplished by making a donation of food, basic necessities and of course, much needed funds.

- Put jars to collect coins at stores, restaurants, etc. Let them know, it is for The Soup Kitchen;
- Donate as a memorial;
- Donate in honor of someone special;
- Give a donation as a birthday, graduation, wedding gifts;
- Hold a Christmas in July fundraiser.
